Job summary

RTL Group in Exeter is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a national civil engineering contractor on an immediate start. You will lead day-to-day site operations on a busy project, chair toolbox talks, supervise subcontractors and site teams, and ensure RAMS and safety compliance.

The role requires a strong civil engineering background, IT literacy, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to manage labour, plant and materials while keeping works on programme and to specification.

Qualifications

• Experience in site management on civil engineering projects.
• Excellent knowledge of RAMS, health, safety and quality requirements.
• IT literacy and proficiency with project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations and supervise site teams and subcontractors.
• Lead toolbox talks and coordinate labour, plant and materials.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification; maintain site records.

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification
• Monitoring quality and maintaining site records

• Previous Site Management experience
