Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major water infrastructure scheme delivering tunnels, shafts, reinforced concrete works and pipelines. You will lead day‑to‑day site operations on a busy civils project.

The role requires a proven background on water or major civil projects, with tunnels, shafts, RC or underground structures. SMSTS, Black CSCS Card and First Aid are essential, plus a full UK driving licence; water industry experience is desirable.

Site Manager Responsibilities

• Manage day to day site operations, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.

• Oversee tunnels, shafts, RC structures, pipelines, and associated civils works.

• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and plant.

• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, RAMS, and project specifications.

• Monitor quality, safety, and progress against programme.

• Deliver site briefings, inspections, and toolbox talks.

Site Manager Requirements

• Experience as a Site Manager on water or major civil engineering projects.

• Background in tunnels, shafts, RC, pipelines, or underground structures.

• SMSTS, Black CSCS Card and First Aid.

• Full UK Driving Licence.

• TWS or water industry experience is desirable.
