Job summary

Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on civil engineering and infrastructure projects with a focus on safety, quality, and timeliness. The role covers coordination across water, utilities, infrastructure and renewables sectors, ensuring projects are delivered on programme and to required standards.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site operations, manage subcontractors and labour, and liaise with project teams and clients while maintaining site records

Qualifications

• SMSTS and CSCS required.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Read and interpret drawings, specifications and RAMS.

• Maintain accurate site records and daily reports.
• Monitor progress and identify potential issues or delays.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering, groundworks or reinforced concrete frame.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety requirements.
• Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• SMSTS and CSCS required.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Water, utilities or infrastructure experience would be highly advantageous
