Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Site Leader/Senior Operations Manager to own operational metrics and strategy across multiple sites. You will develop a large team of leaders, mentor them, and drive peak-season and long-term planning to deliver for customers.

You’ll oversee safety, efficiency, and quality driven improvements, spending time across operational sites to coach teams and implement best practices that scale across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in Global Supply Chain, manufacturing, distribution, logistics or related operations.
• Experience managing a salaried, hourly and agency workforce in a logistics, fulfillment, last-mile manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution environment.
• Experience using Lean Process Improvement, Six Sigma methodologies or related performance metrics to increase efficiency within processes, forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational metrics and business performance.
• Contribute to planning the operational budget, considering everything from financial and labour planning.
• Protect high standards of operational Health and Safety.
• Strategic planning for the next three, six and twelve months, with a focus on peak-season planning.
• Be accountable for operational leadership by measuring performance, offering feedback, and providing development support.
