Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Site Leader Operations within Amazon Transportation Services (ATS). You’ll own the operational metrics, set the strategy for your area, and develop a large team of leaders to deliver for customers.

Based at a live site, you’ll split time across multiple sites, drive long-term planning, peak-season readiness, safety standards, and continuous improvement, while coaching supervisors to raise quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree required.
• Experience in Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution or Logistics operations.
• Experience managing a salaried, hourly and agency workforce in logistics/fulfillment.
• Experience using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and planning.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operational metrics and business performance.
• Contribute to planning the operational budget, including financial and labour planning.
• Protect high standards of Health and Safety.
• Strategic planning for 3, 6 and 12 months with focus on peak-season planning.
• Be accountable for leadership by measuring performance and developing staff.
