Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. in Birmingham seeks an Operations Manager to lead a team of Area Managers and develop the operational plan that drives safety, quality and productivity across our sites.

You will work with HR, Finance, Health & Safety and Security to deliver initiatives that improve site performance, mentor managers, and ensure effective day-to-day operations while preparing for demand and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• Experience in stakeholder management across varied levels of the organization.
• Proficient English language written and verbal communication.
• Experience in making data driven business decisions.
• Experience with operations/supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers.
• Lead operational teams on a shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance.
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence.
• Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.
• Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance.
