Job summary
Morrisons is seeking a Site Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers on our Colne site. You will drive preventative maintenance, minimise downtime and ensure production plans are met within planned hours and staffing.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage the maintenance budget, oversee safety compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement using CMMS and SCADA systems. The role offers strong career progression and competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience leading engineering teams in manufacturing/FMCG environments.
- Strong communication, coaching and engagement skills.
- Proven ability to drive maintenance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Minimise machinery downtime through preventive maintenance planning.
- Ensure safe working practices and daily production plan adherence.
- Maintain facility upkeep and site fabrication as required.
- Manage engineering budget and investments to drive improvements.
- Lead and develop engineering apprenticeships and succession planning.
- Promote preventative maintenance using CMMS and SCADA systems.
