Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing site. You will maintain, repair and improve machinery, minimise downtime and maximise productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, you will conduct inspections, respond to breakdowns, and implement changes to support production targets while adhering to health and safety guidelines and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent (ONC/BTEC acceptable).
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge for FMCG machinery.
• Proactive maintenance mindset with focus on reliability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Respond to machinery breakdowns, diagnose and repair or coordinate external support.
• Carry out machine adjustments and changeovers to support production efficiency.
• Monitor and calibrate equipment to meet quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to drive process improvements.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts.
