Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc in Redcar, Cleveland is seeking a Site Engineer to support NZT project, delivering civil and construction works with emphasis on setting out, surveying and coordination.

You will work with supervisors, survey teams and engineering teams to ensure safe delivery, quality records, and timely progress, from preparation to handover.

Familiarity with drawings, specs, permits and RAMS is essential; site experience on large infrastructure projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Read drawings and understand specifications.
• Experience in civil/site engineering environments.
• Knowledge of RAMS and permit controls.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and surveying for civil works.
• Check drawings, permits and RAMS before works commence.
• Monitor progress and maintain quality records throughout.
• Coordinate with supervisors, subcontractors, survey teams and planning.
