Job summary

Balfour Beatty is recruiting an Engineering Surveying Technician for the Net Zero Teesside (NZT) project on the Redcar site. You will support the survey requirements through construction, help plan control points, and assist in producing as-built drawings from survey data.

Applicants should have GNSS survey experience, a UK driving licence, and a strong safety mindset. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits within a major infrastructure programme.

Qualifications

• GNSS survey experience and familiarity with survey equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Keen to learn and develop within the Survey Team.
• Proficient in IT applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering Surveying Team to support survey requirements during construction.
• Plan and install control points; assist in creating as-built drawings from survey data.
• Maintain and store survey equipment and consumables safely.
• Carry out delegated survey activities and independent checks at key stages.
• Produce deliverables and support site engineers with design outputs.
