Job summary

Barhale Ltd is seeking a Site Engineer to provide on-site engineering support across regional projects. You will establish level and survey control, set out detailed works, and ensure checks are performed regularly per contract drawings, maintaining precise records throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires experience in civil engineering settings, strong communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with robotics/EDM instrument familiarity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of setting out on civil engineering projects.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations.
• Fully conversant with robotic total station or EDM instruments.

Responsibilities

• Establish the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works per contract drawings.
• Ensure checks are carried out regularly and records are accurate.
• Produce procurement schedules and liaise with procurement to ensure resources.
• Create ITPs and task briefings; look-ahead planning with Site Agent.
• Maintain site diaries and allocation sheets.
