Job summary

Barhale seeks a Senior Engineer to provide site engineering duties across regional projects in the Rickmansworth area. You will establish levels and survey control, set out detailed works from contract drawings, and supervise trainees and site engineers.

Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety compliance, maintaining records, and delivering with quality and on time. The role offers progression within Barhale's public infrastructure projects and a supportive, people-focused

Qualifications

• Degree/HNC in civil engineering or equivalent.
• CSCS card.
• SMSTS certification.
• Confined space training.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Ability to manage and deliver a project with minimal guidance.
• Effective communication with client representatives and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish level and survey control for contracts.
• Set out detailed works per contract drawings, ensuring checks.
• Be present for critical setting out activities.
• Ensure health and safety and quality records are complete and compliant.
• Deliver the work safely, with no environmental incidents.
