Job summary

Barhale is seeking a Site Engineer to support regional civil engineering projects in the UK. You will establish level and survey control for contracts, and set out detailed works from contract drawings, ensuring checks are performed regularly.

The role emphasizes health, safety and environmental compliance, with opportunities for progression across large infrastructure schemes and a supportive, values-led culture at Barhale.

Qualifications

• Self-driven and results-oriented approach to civil site work.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, health and safety regulations.
• Experience setting out on civil engineering projects and using total station/EDM instruments.

Responsibilities

• Promote Barhale Cardinal Rules and establish safe working cultures.
• Comply with procedures and legal obligations; ensure environmental compliance.
• Deliver works safely and to specification; maintain quality and snag-free delivery.
• Establish level and survey control for contracts; set out detailed works per drawings; perform regular checks.
• Produce procurement schedules, ITPS and 2-week look-ahead with Site Agent; maintain Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets.
