Job summary

Gortmore Ltd. seeks a Site Engineer for a high-profile infrastructure project in Hillingdon. You will support management with materials, KPI progress, and daily reporting while ensuring compliance with drawings and latest documents.

The role requires experience with earthworks, drainage, service/ductwork installation, RC concrete, and proficiency with GPS, robotic EDM, and laser levels for setting out. QA/ITPs and team communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on Civils projects including Earthworks, drainage, service/ductwork installation, RC Concrete.
• Excellent knowledge of setting out using GPS, robotic EDM and Laser Levels.
• Responsible for QA documents and ITPs.
• Competent in reading drawings and quantifying materials.
• Strong communication to share project information with colleagues.
• Ensure works follow latest drawings and documents.
• Support site management with materials, KPI tracking and progress reports.
• Maintain daily site diary.
• Problem-solving abilities and issue escalation.
• Company vehicle and fuel card provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ITPs and QA documentation as required.
• Read and interpret drawings, quantify materials for procurement.
• Distribute project information to site teams and ensure updated drawings.
• Maintain daily site diary and progress reports for management.
• Support site management with material control, KPI tracking, and progress updates.

The Candidate Must Have

• Previous experience of working on Civils project’s working on Earthworks, drainage, service/ductwork installation, RC Concrete.
• Must have excellent Knowledge of setting out using GPS, robotic EDM and Laser Levels.
• Manage and ensure QA documents are completed correctly.
• Carry out ITP’s.
• Must be competent in reading drawings and quantifying materials.
• Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
• Ensure that works are being carried out to the latest drawings and documents.
• Must be able to work as part of a team in assisting site management with material, KPI’s, Progress reports etc.
• Maintain daily site diary.
• Have problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
• A Vehicle and Fuel Card will also be provided
