Job summary

Gortmore Limited is recruiting a Site Engineer for a Civils project in the Gatwick area. You will focus on setting out, dimensional control and ensuring works align with the latest design and specifications.

The role requires experience on Civils groundworks, drainage, ducting and RC structures, with proficiency in AutoCAD, reading drawings and material quantities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on civils projects including groundworks, drainage, ducting, RC structures.
• Excellent knowledge of laser levels, total stations and GPS.
• Setting out and dimensional control on site.
• Ensure works follow latest design and specification.
• Maintain project QA and site diary.
• Competent in AutoCAD, reading drawings, and quantifying materials.
• Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set out and maintain dimensional control using laser levels, total stations and GPS.
• Ensure works are constructed to latest design and specifications.
• Maintain project QA and site diary.
• Read drawings and quantify materials.
• Produce ITPs, KPIs, RFIs.
• Distribute project information to site team.
• Identify and raise potential issues with problem-solving abilities.

Gortmore are working for a leading contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer's on a Civil's project in the Gatwick area.

The candidate must:

• Have Previous experience working on Civils projects on groundworks, Drainage, ducting, RC Structures etc.
• Must have excellent Knowledge of, Laser Levels, Total Stations and GPS's.
• Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
• Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.
• Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
• Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
• Carry out ITP's, KPI's, RFI's, etc.
• Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
• Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues
