Job summary

Gortmore Limited is seeking a Senior Site Engineer for a civils project in the Kilmarnock area. The role requires strong setting-out skills and experience with groundworks, ducting, drainage, and RC frames on site.

You will monitor information flow, ensure alignment with latest design specifications, and support QA and reporting processes across the site team. Proficiency with AutoCAD and survey instruments is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience on civils projects including groundworks, ducting, drainage and RC frames.
• Competent with accurate setting out and dimensional control.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities on site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and distribute project information to the site team.
• Ensure works are constructed to latest design and specification.
• Maintain QA processes and keep an up-to-date site diary.
• Carry out ITPs, KPIs and RFIs on site.
• Read drawings and quantify materials for construction.

Gortmore are working for a contractor who are looking for a Senior Site Engineer's on a Civil's project in the Kilmarnock area.

• Have Previous experience working on civils projects on groundworks, Ducting, Drainage and RC Frames.
• Must have excellent Knowledge of, Laser Levels, Total Stations and GPS's.
• Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
• Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.
• Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
• Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
• Carry out ITP's, KPI's, RFI's, etc.
• Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
• Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues
