Job summary

Gortmore Ltd on behalf of a leading contractor seeks a Site Engineer for a high-profile infrastructure project on an airfield. The successful candidate will have experience on airport projects, including drainage, service installation, AGLs, profile playing, and asphalt works.

You will be proficient with laser levels, total stations and GPS, manage setting-out and QA, coordinate with site engineers, read drawings, and quantify materials, while maintaining the site diary and ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Must have experience on airport projects including drainage installation, service installation, AGLs, profile playing, asphalt works.
• Proficient with Laser Levels, Total Stations and GPS.
• Monitor and manage project information across site engineers, ensuring accurate setting out and dimensional control.
• Ensure works meet the latest design and specifications.
• Carry out ITPs, KPIs, RFIs and related quality assurance tasks.
• Competent in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, DTM, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
• Maintain project QA and site diary.

Responsibilities

• Set out works and maintain dimensional control on site.
• Ensure compliance with latest design and specifications.
• Maintain QA records and site diary.
• Distribute project information to site engineers and colleagues.
• Read drawings and quantify materials for construction.
• Carry out ITPs, KPIs and RFIs as part of QA process.

Gortmore are working for a leading contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer’s on a high-Profile Infrastructure project on an Airfield.

All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.

The Candidate Must

• Have Previous experience working on Airport projects on drainage installation, service installation, AGL’s, Profile playing, laying Asphalt, etc.
• Must have excellent Knowledge of, Laser Levels, Total Stations and GPS’s.
• Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to several site Engineer’s and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
• Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.
• Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
• Must be competent in Auto Cad, Civils 3D, DTM’s, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
• Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
• Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
• Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues.
• Must drive and have a valid Driving Licence.
• Vehicle and Fuel Card will also be supplied
