Job summary

Gortmore Ltd. is seeking a Site Engineer for a RC project in the Islington area. The role requires strong setting out skills with RC frames, ducting and drainage knowledge, plus experience with laser levels, GPS and Total Stations.

You will monitor dimensional control, ensure works follow latest designs and QA procedures, and maintain the site diary with clear reporting to the team.

Qualifications

• Experience on groundworks and RC projects including ducting, drainage and RC frames.
• Proficient with laser levels, total stations and GPS for setting out.
• Able to manage project information, QA and site diaries.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and dimensional control to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure works are built to latest design and specification.
• Maintain QA records and site diary; raise issues promptly.
• Produce ITPs, KPIs and RFIs as required.
• Communicate clearly with site team and stakeholders.

Gortmore are working for a contractor who are looking for a Site Engineer’s on a RC project in the Islington area.

The Candidate Must

• Have Previous experience working on Groundwork’s & RC projects on groundworks, Ducting, Drainage and RC Frames.
• Must have excellent Knowledge of, Laser Levels, Total Stations and GPS’s.
• Monitoring, manage, distribute project information to site team and ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control is being carried out.
• Ensure the works are constructed to latest design and agreed Specification.
• Ensure Project QA is being carried out and site diary is maintained.
• Must be competent in Auto Cad, reading drawings and quantifying materials.
• Carry out ITP’s, KPI’s, RFI’s, etc.
• Have excellent communication skills and in distributing project information to work colleagues.
• Have excellent problem-solving capabilities and be able to raise any potential issues
