Job summary

MP Jobs Ltd t/a MP Recruitment Group seeks a hands-on Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Engineer for a site-based role in Oxfordshire. You will own equipment maintenance within a regulated manufacturing environment, supporting 50+ pieces of equipment, cleanrooms, utilities and building services.

You will diagnose faults, coordinate specialist repairs and manage contractor work while ensuring safety, reliability and documentation. Training is provided and travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance or engineering.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience of preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Good organisational, communication and record-keeping skills.
• A sound understanding of Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across laboratory, production and facilities equipment.
• Diagnose faults, resolve issues and coordinate specialist repairs.
• Manage servicing, calibration and maintenance schedules.
• Arrange and oversee external contractors and specialist engineers.
• Maintain equipment records, asset registers, service documentation and maintenance tickets.
• Support equipment validation, verification and qualification activities.
• Identify improvements to equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
• Promote Health & Safety and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
