Our client is seeking a hands‑on Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Engineer to take ownership of equipment maintenance and facilities support within a growing, regulated manufacturing environment. This is a varied, predominantly site-based role covering over 50 pieces of laboratory and production equipment, alongside cleanroom, utilities and building services.You will combine practical fault‑finding and preventative maintenance with coordinating specialist repairs, managing contractors and ensuring equipment remains safe, reliable and ready for use.You won't be expected to repair every specialist piece of equipment yourself, but you will need the technical knowledge to diagnose problems, resolve issues where possible and organise the right support when needed.

Particularly someone looking to move away from regular travel and customer‑site visits into a stable, site‑based engineering position, while retaining the variety and technical challenges of their current role. Experience with the specific equipment is not essential, as training will be provided.
The role covers a broad range of technical equipment, including production machinery, laboratory ovens and pumps, mixers, testing equipment, microscopes, cleanroom systems, HVAC, compressors and building services. You will work closely with Production, R&D and Quality teams within a regulated manufacturing environment.
You will be a practical, organised engineer who enjoys fault‑finding, problem‑solving and taking ownership of maintenance activities.
£45,000–£50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
