Job summary

TSSI is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Facilities Engineer to support client sites across the South West of England and South Wales. Based in Bristol or Bath, you will deliver maintenance, repair and refurbishment services across diverse commercial and retail environments.

This role offers autonomy and is ideal for engineers who enjoy problem-solving, ownership of issues, and delivering high-quality service to multiple sites across a broad geographic area.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance across multiple trades.

• UK driving licence is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the South West and South Wales.
• Carry out building fabric repairs, alterations and installations.
• Complete plumbing repairs and minor installations.
• Undertake basic electrical maintenance tasks.
• Carry out carpentry, decorating and finishing works.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and service records.
• Develop relationships with client stakeholders and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services across the South West and South Wales.
• Carry out building fabric repairs, alterations and installations.
• Complete plumbing repairs and minor installation works.
• Undertake basic electrical maintenance tasks.
• Carry out carpentry, decorating and finishing works.
• Conduct site inspections and condition assessments.
• Support refurbishment, fit-out and small project activities.
• Ensure client sites remain safe, compliant and operational.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and service records.
• Develop strong relationships with client stakeholders and site teams.

Essential Experience

• Facilities maintenance or building fabric maintenance experience.
• Multi-trade maintenance capability.
• Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience operating independently across multiple client locations.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• Building Services or Facilities qualification.
• IPAF, PASMA and CSCS.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Joinery, carpentry or refurbishment experience.
• Experience within retail, hospitality or logistics sectors
