Job summary

Caddick Construction Limited is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in the Midlands, working across industrial, logistics and commercial sectors. This site-based role reports to a Senior Quantity Surveyor and provides essential commercial support to project teams.

The successful candidate will have proven main contractor experience, strong contract knowledge (JCT/NEC) and solid understanding of construction law and commercial management.

Qualifications

Proven commercial experience working for a main contractor.
Familiarity with JCT/NEC forms of contract.
Knowledge of current construction law.
Experience in commercial management.
Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and accruals.
Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.

Responsibilities

Work on a variety of projects in the West Midlands reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
Provide commercial support to project teams on all projects.
Ensure projects are administered effectively to meet commercial targets and customer focus.
