Think Recruitment in Nottingham is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 2 Principal Contractor. You will support commercial delivery on high-end, multi-million-pound projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The role offers exposure to valuations, variations, procurement and cost reporting, with a clear path toward Quantity Surveyor progression on prestigious schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Experience with valuations, variations, procurement and cost control.
• Good understanding of construction commercial processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial management of construction projects.
• Support preparation and submission of valuations.
• Assist with variations, change control and cost reporting.
• Support procurement and subcontractor management.
• Monitor project costs and budgets.
• Assist with subcontractor payments and accounts.
• Review and manage commercial documentation.
• Support Senior Quantity Surveyor and wider commercial team.
• Build relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and project teams.
