Caddick Construction Limited in the East Midlands is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team on a range of commercial, industrial and logistics projects. The role is primarily site-based and reports to a Commercial Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Main Contractor.
• Familiarity with JCT/NEC forms of contract.
• Knowledge of current Construction Law.
• Experience in commercial management.
• Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and accruals calculations.
• Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.

What You’ll Do

Quantity Surveyor

• Working on a variety of projects in the East Midlands reporting directly to one of our Commercial Managers.
• The role is primarily site based and will provide commercial support to the project teams on all projects for which they are responsible.
• Ensure that projects they are administered effectively and that the business objectives in terms of appropriate commercial targets and customer focus are achieved.

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
• Familiarity with JCT/NEC/ forms of contract.
• Knowledge of current Construction Law.
• Experience in commercial management.
• Experience in procurement of subcontractors, measurement and control cycle, certificates and accruals calculations.
• Good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
