Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Agent to manage a water civils and pipeline scheme in the Loughborough area. The role covers highways works and operations within a live wastewater environment, driving delivery to programme and quality standards.

Responsibilities include day-to-day site delivery, planning and resourcing, subcontractor and site team management, RAMS/ITPs, HSEQ, and client liaison, until testing and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Agent in water/wastewater civils projects.
• Ability to manage civils/pipeline works, highways interactions and live sewer environments.
• CSCS Black Card is required; SMSTS and NRSWA supervisor qualifications are needed.
• First Aid training (3 days) is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to join a water infrastructure project in the Loughborough area.

The role will involve managing the delivery of a civils and pipeline scheme, including works across highways and within an operational wastewater environment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of site delivery
• Planning, programming and resourcing works
• Managing subcontractors and site teams
• Producing and briefing RAMS, ITPs and construction documentation
• Managing HSEQ, quality and programme performance
• Liaising with the client and wider project team
• Managing works through to testing, commissioning and handover

Requirements

• Strong Site Agent experience within water / wastewater civils
• Previous pipeline and infrastructure experience
• Experience working around live services and operational sites
• CSCS Black Card
• SMSTS
• 3-Day First Aid
• NRSWA Supervisor

An engineering background and additional Temporary Works, Confined Space or lifting qualifications would be advantageous.

This is an initial 6-month freelance opportunity with potential for further work.
