Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Site Agent to oversee on-site delivery for water sector projects across South and West Yorkshire. The role is freelance with a daily CIS rate and an immediate start, offering an ongoing pipeline of work with a leading regional contractor.

You will manage site operations, coordinate labour and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality and programme compliance on civil water-related works.

Qualifications

• Experience in water/utilities sector.
• Proven track record delivering civil engineering or water projects.
• Strong site management and subcontractor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations and supervising site teams and subcontractors.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with RAMS and procedures.
• Monitoring programme, progress and productivity.
• Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and environmental compliance.
• Liaising with Project Manager, client and project team.
• Completing site documentation, inspections and reporting.
• Identifying and resolving issues to keep works on programme.

Site Agent – Water Sector
Location: South / West Yorkshire
Rate: £350–£425 per day CIS

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading regional contractor delivering a programme of works across South and West Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Agent with a strong background in the water/utilities sector looking for ongoing freelance work, with the potential for a long-term pipeline of projects.

The Role

As Site Agent, you’ll be responsible for the successful day-to-day delivery of works on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.

• Managing day-to-day site operations and supervising site teams and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered safely and in accordance with RAMS and company procedures
• Monitoring programme, progress and productivity
• Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors
• Maintaining high standards of quality and environmental compliance
• Liaising with the Project Manager, client and wider project team
• Completing site documentation, inspections and reporting
• Identifying and resolving issues proactively to keep works on programme

About You

• Previous experience working within the water/utilities sector
• A proven track record delivering civil engineering or water-related projects
• Strong site management and subcontractor coordination skills
• Excellent understanding of health & safety and quality requirements
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and RAMS
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Relevant site management qualifications/tickets, ideally including SMSTS
• A valid CSCS card
