Full Circle Technical Recruitment is seeking a Site Administrator for a busy engineering and construction site in Wanlip, Leicestershire. The role focuses on general site administration, office support, and keeping paperwork organised while supporting the operational team.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will manage site paperwork, use SharePoint for records, handle invoicing input, arrange meetings and site inductions, and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and organise site paperwork and filing
  • Use SharePoint to maintain site records
  • Scan, copy and manage documents
  • Input and process invoices
  • Arrange meetings and book rooms
  • Arrange site access passes and inductions
  • Liaise with security regarding visitors
  • Support printing and general office requirements
  • Manage hot desk requests
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Data entry and admin tasks
  • Support wider site team with day-to-day tasks
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards
  • Assist with process or systems changes as required
  • Carry out additional administrative duties as required

Job description

Site Administrator - Wanlip

Location: Wanlip, Leicestershire

Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Minimum 5 months, with potential to extend

Overtime: Paid for hours worked over 37.5 hours per week

Start: ASAP

We are looking for a Site Administrator to join a busy engineering and construction site in Wanlip.

This is an urgent requirement and would suit an experienced Administrator, Office Administrator or Site Administrator who is organised, reliable and comfortable supporting a busy operational team.

You do not need specialist EDMS experience. The role is primarily focused on general site administration, office support and keeping paperwork, records and day-to-day site arrangements organised.

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will provide a professional and efficient administration service to the operational site team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and organising site paperwork and filing
  • Using systems such as SharePoint to maintain site records
  • Scanning, photocopying and general document management
  • Inputting and processing invoices
  • Arranging meetings and booking meeting rooms
  • Arranging site access passes and inductions
  • Liaising with security regarding visitors
  • Supporting printing access and general office requirements across the site
  • Managing hot desk requests
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies, including stationery and refreshments
  • General data entry and administration
  • Supporting the wider site team with day-to-day administrative tasks
  • Ensuring work is carried out in line with company safety procedures, health and safety legislation and environmental standards
  • Assisting with the implementation of process, system or behavioural changes where required
  • Carrying out any additional administrative duties required by the site team

Ideally you'll have:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience using systems such as SharePoint would be beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills
  • Previous customer service experience
  • A professional and helpful approach
  • The ability to manage a varied workload in a busy site environment

Previous experience within construction, engineering or utilities would be useful, but is not essential.

The standard working week is 37.5 hours, with hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm. Any additional hours worked over 37.5 hours will be paid as overtime.

The initial requirement is expected to be approx five months, with potential for the assignment to continue beyond this.
