SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site in London, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team involved in complex and critical projects, helping to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks, fault updates, and completions

Who You Are:

This is an entry-level role suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician role is ideal if you have experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am
