Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site in London, UK)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex and critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will conduct planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Who You Are:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician role is ideal if you have experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work nights Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, at Pirin Court Service Centre
