SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site in London, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and develop solutions alongside technical experts committed to making an impact. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to support the nation's infrastructure.

The successful candidate will report to the Duty Manager and will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending scheduled and remedial maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is ideal for someone hands-on, capable of multitasking, eager to learn, and with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures. The role suits those with a CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background, good IT skills, problem-solving abilities, and a full UK driving license. The work involves night shifts at Pirin Court Service Centre.
