SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 in London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts who are proud of their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical tasks, contributing to the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Who You Are:

This is a great entry-level role for hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. The Level 4 Technician role suits those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am
