Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site, Doncaster)

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex work that helps maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is desirable.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre.
