Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification of CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Utilise field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and fault resolution

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
