SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 - London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm to 6 am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
