Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician, What you’ll do:

• Assist senior technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician role is suitable for those with experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Station Systems Technician Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am.
