SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join Telent's Engineering Team, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex and critical infrastructure projects that impact the nation.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station Systems Technician Responsibilities:

1. Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
2. Perform planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Maintain SISS assets and report/fix station communication faults.
4. Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. It is ideal for those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre.
