Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site, London, United Kingdom)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and work closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work to build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician, What you’ll do:

• Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Ensure SISS assets are maintained and station communication faults are reported and fixed
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion

Who you are:

This entry-level role is ideal for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician role suits those with experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, from Pirin Court Service Centre
