SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts committed to making a difference. Be part of a high-performing team working on complex, critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). This is a permanent night shift role, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
2. Conduct planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks.
3. Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
4. Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
5. Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates.

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. The ideal candidate will have experience or understanding of network or electrical systems and familiarity with Network Rail safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
