Job summary

Ward Security in Gillingham is seeking an Elite Support Officer for a busy shopping centre. You will maintain a visible security presence, assist visitors and staff, and respond promptly to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a Frontline SIA Licence and CCTV Licence, plus at least one year of corporate security experience. You will work weekend days on shifts across seven days, with a competitive hourly pay of £13.98, and benefit from training and career

Qualifications

• Frontline SIA Licence and CCTV Licence required.
• At least one year of proven Corporate Security Officer experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Exemplary personal presentation and professional demeanour.
• Good IT skills and ability to operate security systems.
• Strong problem-solving and quick-thinking abilities.
• Availability to work across all seven days including shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence to protect shoppers, staff and assets.
• Control access points and authorise or refuse entry as required.
• Conduct regular patrols and respond to incidents professionally.
• Investigate incidents and take appropriate lawful action.
• Complete accurate daily reports and provide surveillance footage when required.
• Communicate clearly across face-to-face, written and radio channels.
• Respond to emergencies using IT systems and security equipment.
