Job summary

Ward Security Limited is seeking an experienced Elite Support Officer for a busy retail shopping centre in Gillingham. You will protect visitors, staff and assets while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

Requirements include a valid Frontline SIA Licence and CCTV Licence, plus at least one year of Corporate Security Officer experience. The role offers £13.98 per hour, weekend days 07:00-19:00, with shifts to cover sickness and annual leave, plus

Qualifications

• Valid Frontline SIA Licence and CCTV Licence required.
• At least 1 year proven Corporate Security Officer experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Polished, professional presentation at all times.
• Good IT skills and ability to operate security systems.
• Availabilit y to work across all seven days, including extra shifts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for shoppers, staff and visitors.
• Control access points and conduct regular patrols.
• Investigate incidents and take lawful action as needed.
• Complete daily reports and provide surveillance footage when required.
• Communicate clearly across face-to-face, reports, and radios.
• Respond to emergencies using IT systems and equipment.
