Grant & Stone Plumbing, part of IBMG, is seeking a customer-focused Showroom Sales Assistant to join our Oxford showroom team. You will help customers bring their bathroom projects to life by providing expert product advice, preparing quotations, processing orders and delivering an outstanding showroom experience from enquiry to delivery.

We value bathroom, plumbing or KBB experience, strong customer service skills and the ability to build relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience in bathroom, KBB, plumbing or interiors sector.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proactive, sales-focused and independent as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers in the showroom and capture project requirements.
• Advise on bathroom products, styles and solutions.
• Prepare quotations and manage customer orders.
• Follow up enquiries and convert opportunities into sales.
• Conduct showroom, site and home appointments.
• Build relationships with trade and retail customers.
• Coordinate customer projects from enquiry to delivery.
• Maximise sales through upselling and linked selling.
• Maintain attractive showroom displays.
• Ensure paperwork and records are accurate.

Hours: Full-time, permanent — Mon–Fri 07:30-17:15 with Alternate Saturdays 08:00-12:00

The role

We’re looking for a customer-focused Showroom Sales Assistant to join our Oxford showroom team.

You’ll help customers bring their bathroom projects to life by providing expert product advice, preparing quotations, managing orders and delivering an excellent showroom experience from initial enquiry through to completion.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with bathroom, plumbing, KBB or showroom sales experience who enjoys building relationships and providing exceptional customer service.

What you’ll actually be doing

• Meeting customers in the showroom and understanding their project requirements
• Providing advice on bathroom products, styles and solutions
• Preparing quotations and managing customer orders
• Following up enquiries and converting opportunities into sales
• Conducting showroom, site and home appointments when required
• Building strong relationships with trade and retail customers
• Coordinating customer projects from enquiry to delivery
• Maximising sales through upselling and linked-selling opportunities
• Maintaining attractive and inspiring showroom displays
• Ensuring all paperwork and customer records are completed accurate

What you’ll bring

• Experience within the bathroom, KBB, plumbing or interiors sector
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive customer experiences
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, sales‑focused approach with the confidence to identify opportunities and maximise sales
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Full UK Driving Licence

• A calm, organised approach in a busy showroom environment, with the ability to maintain high standards and deliver excellent service
