Job summary

British Gas is seeking a Short-Term Build Analyst to produce and deliver resource plans for Customer Operations from 1 week to 12 weeks out, supporting the RP team to plan activity and improve profitability.

The role is based from home with travel to Stockport or Leeds as needed, involving forecasting staffing levels, service levels and KPI monitoring. Strong analytical and eWFM skills required.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical background with excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Understanding of Resource Planning principles and practices.
• Experience using eWFM is essential.
• Experience working across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Numerate with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to produce clear documents and analyses using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Resilience under time pressure with a continuous learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain resource plans to forecast staffing and service levels.
• Lead stakeholder discussions to keep plans updated.
• Analyse performance against plan and report findings.
• Comment on deviations to leadership using RP metrics.
• Own planning cycles and governance across RP teams.
• Support RP projects driving business strategy.
