Job summary

Infotel UK is seeking an IT Quality Engineer to bridge production operations and digital infrastructure in a modern manufacturing environment. You will assure IT/OT systems reliability, compliance, and performance across MES, ERP, SCADA and IoT.

You will design test plans, lead validation activities, manage change control, and work with OT, Automation, and Systems teams to prevent downtime and support Industry 4.0 initiatives. Hybrid remote options available.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an IT Quality Engineer in manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of MES/SCADA/ERP systems and IoT frameworks.
Experience with software testing, system validation lifecycles, and QA methodologies (GAMP 5, V-Model).

Responsibilities

Establish QA and system validation protocols for shop-floor IT systems (MES/ERP/SCADA/IoT).
Ensure IT compliance with ISO 9001, GAMP 5, ISO 27001 and data integrity guidelines.
Lead RCA and CAPA for IT outages and data synchronization issues.
Collaborate with OT, Automation, and Systems teams to validate software updates and data pipelines.
Design automated and manual test plans for manufacturing software and edge computing solutions.
Monitor availability and data latency across manufacturing lines to drive Industry 4.0 improvements.
Manage IT Change Control to avoid production downtime.
