Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an OT Engineer to provide hands‑on engineering expertise across utilities, water, wastewater and critical infrastructure environments. You will assess and support the modernisation of PLC, RTU, SCADA, telemetry and control systems, conducting site surveys and design activities.

You will work with operators and stakeholders to identify opportunities for standardisation and improvement, while developing expertise in IT/OT convergence and edge‑to‑cloud connectivity.

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience in industrial automation and OT control systems.
• Experience conducting OT site surveys, engineering assessments and technical reviews.
• Knowledge of brownfield modernisation challenges and multi‑vendor environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OT site surveys and assessments across distributed environments.
• Evaluate PLC/RTU/SCADA/telemetry estates for risks, interoperability and standardisation.
• Support control‑system modernisation and migration roadmaps with practical input.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers and stakeholders on IT/OT convergence initiatives.
