Job summary

Infotel UK Consulting is seeking an IT Quality Engineer to bridge production operations with digital infrastructure. You will validate shop-floor systems, oversee MES, ERP, and SCADA integrations, and establish QA protocols for manufacturing IT infrastructure to support zero-downtime operations.

The role requires experience in manufacturing IT/OT, knowledge of ISO 9001, GAMP 5, and ITIL-like practices, plus problem-solving for outages and data integrity.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an IT Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of MES, SCADA, ERP systems and IoT frameworks.
Familiarity with ISO 9001, GAMP 5, ISO 27001 and IT service management standards.

Responsibilities

Establish and execute QA and system validation for shop-floor IT systems.
Ensure IT compliance with manufacturing regulations and data integrity.
Lead RCA and CAPA for IT outages and data sync issues.
Collaborate with OT, Automation, and Systems Engineering teams to validate updates.
Design automated and manual test plans for manufacturing software and edge computing.
Monitor system availability and digital quality metrics across lines.
