Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a Shift Supervisor to support store operations and partner with the Store Manager to create a welcoming, customer-focused environment. You will lead baristas, ensure quality service, and maintain store standards during your shifts.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, coaching the team, managing cash, maintaining inventory, and upholding safety and sanitation guidelines. Previous retail or food service experience and flexible availability are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, customer service, or food service preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-motivation skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and stay calm in fast-paced environments.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, inviting café environment.
• Open/close the store according to standards; lead and support partners on shift.
• Manage cash handling processes including till counts and deposits; ensure register accuracy.
• Ensure beverage and food quality per Starbucks standards and recipes.
• Maintain inventory and assist with stock replenishment and ordering.
• Provide real-time coaching and foster a respectful, collaborative team culture.
• Lead shift briefings and communicate daily goals and promotions.
• Uphold safety and sanitation guidelines and comply with policies and regulations.
