Help us make a difference as a Production Supervisor at our facility in Seaham.

A quick look at the role

To support site management in the day-to-day management and supervision of the facility and its teams in achieving its targets and goals.

Shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, repeat (7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am).

Your Core Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety standards, policies, and procedures are observed, maintained, and reviewed.
• Ensure quality standards are observed and maintained.
• Monitor and assist shift performance and discipline.
• Promote and manage change.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards and performance on site.
• Supervise the day-to-day running of the facility.
• Deputise in the absence of the Senior Production Supervisor.
• Assist the team in achieving the site's KPIs.

Requirements

Our essential requirements

• Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH (Desirable).
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO accreditations and requirements.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, etc.).
• Previous experience and knowledge gained in the waste sector (Desirable).
• Previous management/supervisor experience working with large teams, predominantly in production/manufacturing environments (Essential).
• A general understanding of engineering/mechanical principles (Desirable).
