Job summary

enfinium is seeking a qualified professional to oversee day-to-day plant operations at Knottingley. The role focuses on reliable shift operations, supervising the team, and enforcing safety, environmental, and operational procedures to meet company targets for safe working conditions and performance.

The successful candidate will lead safety training, drive team development, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards while coordinating with plant staff to maintain high housekeeping

Qualifications

• HND/HNC in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ operational and maintenance experience in power generation or EfW environment.

Responsibilities

• Trains shift personnel in safety procedures and equipment use; implements training programs.
• Enforces Company Safety Rules as a SAP (Senior Authorised Person).
• Directs and motivates the team; conducts performance appraisals and succession planning.
• Directs and supervises a team to operate and maintain the facility safely and efficiently.
• Promotes teamwork between operational staff and plant personnel.
• Ensures safety is a priority at all times.
