Job summary
Pioneer Selection Ltd in Milnrow is seeking an Engineering Shift Supervisor to lead the engineering team on shift, coordinate maintenance activities and ensure production machinery operates safely and efficiently. You will drive planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance, promote preventative maintenance and continuous improvement to maximise OEE on high-speed lines in a food manufacturing facility.
The role offers a competitive salary (£56,000–£60,000), Monday-Friday rotating early and late
Qualifications
- Must have supervised/led an engineering team in manufacturing.
- Strong electrical or multi-skilled engineering background.
- Hands-on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
- Experience prioritising engineering activities to minimise downtime.
Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering team on shift and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Oversee fault-finding and breakdown repairs and ensure safe, efficient operation of production machinery.
- Drive preventative maintenance and continuous improvement to maximise OEE.
