EMR Group is seeking a Team Leader to drive daily operations in a heavy industrial setting in the UK. You will lead operational teams, promote a Safety First culture, coordinate resources and monitor inventory to meet production targets.

The role focuses on hands-on leadership, continuous improvement, effective coaching, and rapid decision-making to support a fast-paced yard environment.

• Experience leading teams in production, recycling, manufacturing, or heavy industrial settings.

• Understanding of processes, material movements and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and promote a Safety First culture in line with standards.
• Organise and develop teams to hit production, safety, quality and performance targets.
• Coordinate plant, equipment and labour resources for daily objectives.
• Ensure materials are processed, graded, stored and housekeeping is maintained.
• Monitor stock movements and support inventory accuracy and control.
• Drive continuous improvement to maximise yard efficiency and performance.
• Provide direction, coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• Support training and development to maintain skills and qualifications.
• Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
